Job description

As Junior Sales Manager at Van Vuuren, you will be responsible for building an international network. You will explore potential markets and identify and visit new growers, dealers and agents. In the initial phase, you will be responsible for sales yourself, but once a good foundation has been laid, you will partly outsource sales to agencies or dealers. Your role will then be to follow up with them and ensure that your targets and dealer agreements are met.

Key responsibilities

• Building and maintaining an international network of growers, dealers and agents
• Identifying and visiting potential markets and growers in different countries
• Actively searching for potential dealers and agents to expand the reach of Van Vuuren
• Taking care of the first sales independently and then handing over the follow-up to dealers or agents with partial supervision
• Ensuring the achievement of your targets and monitoring the targets and agreements with dealers

Desired skills and qualifications

• Affinity with the agricultural sector is a must
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch, English and French, Spanish is a plus
• Strong commercial skills and a result-oriented mentality
• Proactive and independent working attitude
• Excellent negotiation skills and able to build and maintain relationships
• Willingness to travel internationally
• HBO+
• Education: international business and language
